Keyword Match Types

Keywords are search terms that buyers use to find products on Amazon. There are different types of keyword match types:

Broad Match: Your ad will be shown for similar word groups and relevant variations.

Phrase Match: Your ad will be shown for all search queries that contain the exact phrase. The order and sequence of words are crucial.

Exact Match: Your ad will only be shown when the search query exactly matches the booked keyword or keyword combination.

Negative Keyword: Your ad will explicitly not be shown for search queries that include this term.
